TA DAAAA!!!!!

I can honestly now, say that i will be seeing the Eagles. After many days of biting my nails off, loosing sleep, stressing myself (and Russ) out, talking about it constantly with Sherry and Val,I managed to score us some tickets today! I can't even believe what we spent on them. That just goes to show how obsessed i am.
Hopefully I won't get thrown out because I will be trying to take some video or pictures for this blog. I could always go out and stock their bus. Yes Val I would do that. remember ...I stormed the stage and touched Rick Springfield's butt....never underestimate my skills, I hope I can stand myself for 4 months. may 9Th is the big day. Happy mothers day to me.

Bayli's movie

Bayli made this video for her photography class.She took pictures that went along with the words of the song that's playing. I was very impressed,she did a great job with this assignment.She went around town to take pictures, even got stuck in a pile of snow. Jax got out of the car and thought he could push the car ( all by himself) and get them unstuck.Luckily 2 guys stopped to help and managed to push it out of the snow. I think we failed to mention to her that "Ronda the Honda" is not a 4 wheel drive. She better get an A for this project.

Fotheringham christmas party (Dad and Jax hamming it up)

Last night was our family Christmas party. Every year each family takes a turn hosting the party and yep..this year it was my turn. Roy let us use his office instead of having to use the church. It turned out really nice. It was much warmer ,cozy,and Sherry told me since we weren't at the church, we could swear. I'm pretty sure that Russ and I were the only 2 that took advantage of that (that i know of ). It was alot of fun. I really enjoyed watching the little ones, they are so cute and rowdy. It makes you really appreciate it more when you know it's not your own kids running around like wild Indians. You can just sit and watch them and not worry about what kind of trouble they are getting into because your not the parent. Terah asked Russ "Who's idea was it to have children"? I don't think i saw her sit down all night.

FAMILY PICTURE DAY

so...on thanksgiving we arranged to have our family pictures taken. My niece Jesi was in town and she has such a talent with photography. She can look at an area or a structure and no that it will look great in a photo..She sure made us look good,I'm not even sure who these people are. Bayli and Jax always look cute but it takes alot of help to make us (old farts) look snazy. There is only one problem that i could find with these pics and that is looking at them on my computer we look short and squatie. We did this on old Lehi state st. around the old historical buildings. I'm really pleased at how they turned out, so Jesi.....thank you so much. You ROCK!!!!

Not much goes on around the Shelton home except....alot of hunting and alot of dead animals. The boys will be gone for a few hours and then I hear them pull in, doors slam and a ring of the doorbell. Thats how I know that there is something dead waiting on the other side of the door. It's usually Jax standing there with a big,proud, grin holding something he shot that day. THE BEAR

The Bear....need i say more? Russ killed the bear about a year ago. He baited for about 2 months. We have been waiting for it to come back from the taxidermist, these things take time you know, especially when you have to do the monthly instalment plan, you guessed it,it's not cheep to stuff a bear. Russ asked me "where should we put it when it's done" I said "i don't care just make sure you put it on wheels so i can wheel it out back when you go to work everyday".

Russ went to Colorado hunting this year. They hunted hard for 5 days. He and Tony both brought home deer.

TEMPLES & TOMBS

JAX'S 6TH GRADE CLASS HAD A PROGRAM CALLED TEMPLES AND TOMBS. THEY LEARN ALL ABOUT ANCIENT EGYPT. IN THE PROGRAM THEY SING, AND EVERYONE DRESSES LIKE EGYPTIANS. YEP! DRESSES AND MAKEUP THE BOYS LOVE IT! GOOD THING I HAD SOME OLD GROOVY BLUE EYE SHADOW KICKING AROUND.
