Robert “Bob” William Fotheringham, 80, of Lindon, passed away Saturday, June 5, 2010. He was born September 14, 1929 in Eureka to Otto C. and Leona Stickney Fotheringham. He was the sixth of eight children. He married Lorna Hafen, September 5, 1952 in Springville, they were later sealed in the Salt Lake Temple; they have enjoyed 57 years together.

Bob served in the US Navy on a destroyer ship as a gunners mate in the Korean War. He met his sweetheart Lorna on leave and she waited for his return. He worked for Geneva Steel and owned and operated Bob’s Deep Steam Carpet Cleaning for over 30 years. He enjoyed woodworking, gardening and spending time at his cabin.



Bob is survived by his wife, Lorna, four children, Bob (Debra), AF; Sherry (Roy) Jensen, AF; Kelly (Julie), AF; Laurie (Russ) Shelton, Lehi; one brother, Bert (Carol) AF; 13 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, four sisters and two brothers.



Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 9, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. in the Lindon First Ward Chapel, 56 E. 600 N., Lindon. Friends and family may call Tuesday, June 8, 2010 from 6-8 p.m. at Olpin Family Mortuary, 494 S. 300 E., Pleasant Grove, and one hour prior to services on Wednesday. Interment will be in the Lindon City Cemetery where military honors will be conducted by the American Legion Post 72.
